Pradorn Says It’s Seripisut’s Right to Sue Over Khao Kradong Issue, Questions If It’s a Political Game

Seripisut has the right to sue over the Khao Kradong issue. As to whether it is a political game, Pradorn leaves that question to Seripisut himself. He also revealed that currently, the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is in the process of suing each opposing party individually.

At 13:30 on 18 May 2026 GMT+7, Pradorn Prissanantakul, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, commented on the case involving Police General Seripisut Temiyavet, party-list Member of Parliament from the Seri Ruam Thai Party, who plans to file a petition with the Constitutional Court to rule on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, as well as Minister of Digital Economy and Society Chaiyachon Chidchob, alleged to have violated ethics for neglecting to take action to seize land at Khao Kradong. He said it is Seripisut’s right to take legal action as appropriate. Regarding the land restitution process at Khao Kradong, it is currently at the stage where the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is proceeding to sue the opposing parties individually, which is part of the judicial process.

When asked whether the Constitutional Court filing at this time would affect the Prime Minister, Pradorn said, "The judicial process continues. If Police General Seripisut has concerns or wishes to file for impeachment, that is his right. Whether he can proceed depends on the Constitution and the law, which specify the applicable channels and conditions." However, when further asked if this matter is a political game, Pradorn replied that the question should be directed to Police General Seripisut himself.
