The Kasetsart University Council has resolved to appoint Assistant Professor Dr. Kongsak Thiangtham as the 16th Rector of Kasetsart University.
On 18 May 2026 GMT+7, the Kasetsart University Council held a special meeting, session 1/2026, where three candidates who passed the screening by the selection committee for the rector position presented their management plans according to the university's vision and development strategy. The council members then engaged in extensive discussions and shared their views on the candidates.
Recently, the university council resolved to propose Assistant Professor Dr. Kongsak Thiangtham to serve as the 16th Rector of Kasetsart University.
