According to Phra Athikan Sa-yan Khantithammo, the abbot of Wat Sa Nuea, Village No. 3, Sa Subdistrict, Chiang Muan District, Phayao Province, the incident where the son assaulted his mother within the temple was captured on CCTV. It happened yesterday (20 May). A layman man came holding a flower tray to request ordination but was refused. The abbot explained that ordination requires prior screening and approval, so the man was unhappy with the refusal.
