On 21 May 2026, the Facebook page Fire & Rescue Thailand reported a hotel fire in Pattaya at 21:00 on Third Road, Pattaya, Chonburi Province. Many people were trapped inside the building, and firefighters were actively conducting rescue operations.
According to reporters, the fire initially broke out at a hotel on North Pattaya Road, Third Road, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. The fire spread fiercely on the rooftop. Injured individuals have started to be taken to hospitals, with three reported injured so far, one of whom is critically hurt after running through the flames to escape.
Firefighters have now managed to partially control the fire. A large number of tourists have been evacuated from the hotel building, many suffering from smoke inhalation.
