Ratchaburi – The Ban Pong district chief is preparing the “Delicious Food and Good Products Festival: 130 Years of Ban Pong, the City of Beauty” to be held from 2-4 July 2026 at the multipurpose area beside the Mae Klong River embankment in Ban Pong municipality, Ratchaburi province.

On 29 May 2026, Ms. Kulthida Phaya, Ban Pong district chief, presided over the press conference announcing the “Delicious Food and Good Products Festival: 130 Years of Ban Pong, the City of Beauty 2026.” Ban Pong district, together with government and private agencies, is preparing a grand celebration to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Ban Pong district, taking place from 2 to 4 July 2026 at the multipurpose area by the Mae Klong River embankment in Ban Pong municipality.





Ms. Kulthida Phaya, Ban Pong district chief, stated that the event will showcase the finest local specialties, delicious foods, OTOP shops, and legendary dishes of Ban Pong for residents and tourists to taste, shop, and experience the charm of this city known for its exquisite cuisine and renowned Ban Pong woven fabrics. The event will also feature entertainment and creative performances throughout. A highlight is the cultural parade of 5 ethnic groups involving over 400 participants under the concept of “Soft Power,” blending cultural roots with modernity and social diversity in a beautiful way.


Additionally, there will be a youth contest for Ban Pong district and talent shows to provide young people the opportunity to fully express their potential and creativity.




There will also be the “Little Miss Ban Pong City of Beauty 2026” contest for children aged 5 to 8, promoting confidence and pride among local youth. Another exciting activity is a fierce speed-eating competition, inviting food enthusiasts and supporters to enjoy competing with Ban Pong’s signature dishes for numerous cash prizes. Another notable event is Street Art and Live Spray Painting, offering space for artists and the public to create artworks along with art workshops, reflecting Ban Pong’s identity as a new art city.
At the same time, the Ban Pong district will sell charity raffle tickets, with net proceeds used to support public welfare activities, assisting the underprivileged, disadvantaged, and disaster victims in the Ban Pong area.
