The Meteorological Department's Issue No. 11 announces "heavy to very heavy rainfall" across Thailand and strong winds in the Andaman Sea. Warning for 23 provinces still at risk of heavy rain, with caution for floods and flash floods.

WebsiteMeteorological DepartmentThe Meteorological Department's Issue No. 11 (effective until 1 June 2026) announces heavy to very heavy rainfall across Thailand and strong winds in the Andaman Sea. It states that Thailand is experiencing continuous rain with some heavy rainfall, especially very heavy rain in some areas on the western side of the southern region. This is due to a fairly strong southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, the south, and the Gulf of Thailand, combined with a monsoon trough passing through upper Thailand. The public in Thailand is advised to prepare for and be cautious of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulated rainfall which may cause flash floods and flash floods, particularly in high-risk areas near waterways and low-lying zones.

For the upper Andaman Sea, from Phuket province northward, winds are fairly strong with waves 2-3 meters high; in areas with thunderstorms, waves exceed 3 meters. The lower Andaman Sea, from Krabi province southward, has waves about 2 meters high; in thunderstorms, waves exceed 2 meters. Mariners in these areas should navigate carefully and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should refrain from leaving the shore during this period.
