Joining Forces with Volunteers to Restore Khao Khayai Forest, Continuing the Vision of From Desert Mountain to Heavenly Mountain

The Chai Nat Primary Educational Service Area Office (PAESAO) joined forces with the Noen Kham Educational Coordination Center to unite volunteers in restoring the Khao Khayai forest, advancing the concept of transforming 'Khao Khayai, the Desert Mountain, into Heavenly Mountain.'


On 5 June 2026 at 16:00, Mr. Nirut Khemngern, Director of the Chai Nat Primary Educational Service Area Office (PAESAO), assigned Mr. Somraksak Wannonnam and Acting Sub-Lieutenant Thanachot Hraira, Deputy Directors of PAESAO, along with management, teachers, and educational staff from the Noen Kham Educational Coordination Center to conduct activities on-site. "Uniting volunteer power to develop the Khao Khayai forest in Chai Nat Province." At the Khao Khayai area, Khao Tha Phra Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chai Nat Province.

This activity supports the policy of Dr. Pichet Phophakdi, Secretary-General of the Basic Education Commission (SBEC), and Dr. Pichet Wantong, Deputy Secretary-General of SBEC, emphasizing strong participation from schools and affiliated agencies in environmental conservation and fostering awareness. "Love for the homeland" to instill in personnel and youth a foundation for sustainable natural resource development.

Continuing the intellectual heritage from 'Desert Mountain' to 'Heavenly Mountain.'

This activity also continues the Khao Khayai restoration project, inspired by the concept initiated by Mr. Suthipong Juljaroen, former Permanent Secretary of the Interior Ministry, who pioneered transforming the area from "Desert Mountain" back into "Heavenly Mountain." The goal is to establish an ecosystem suitable for wildlife habitation and to serve as a recreational and exercise area for the people of Chai Nat Province.

Furthermore, PAESAO has arranged for all 12 educational coordination centers under its jurisdiction to take turns participating in volunteer activities every Friday continuously, demonstrating unity and actively contributing to local natural resource conservation.
