White School Project Cancelled in 2027 Budget to Reduce Teachers Burden and Enhance Education Efficiency

The Office of the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Education has issued a letter cancelling the "White School" project. The 2027 budget's drug-free initiative aims to reduce teachers' burden and improve education management efficiency.

On 11 Jun 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that the Facebook page "MOE 360" shared an official letter from the Office of the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Education, captioning that the White School project has been cancelled. The official letter with the Garuda emblem confirms the cancellation in 2027 #ReducingTeachersBurden.

The official letter from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, signed by Mr. Suthep Kaengsantia, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, states the cancellation of the White School project for the 2027 fiscal year. It references the Minister of Education's policy for fiscal years 2026–2027, Policy 1: Returning Time to Teachers to Restore Children's Future. This policy focuses on using technology to work smart and reduce non-teaching tasks for teachers, thereby enhancing educational efficiency and enabling teachers to fully dedicate themselves to student development, especially considering that the White School project involves many procedural and documentation duties.

The Office of the Permanent Secretary, responsible for implementing the White School drug-free project, announces that to ensure smooth operations, the White School project will be cancelled starting from the 2027 fiscal year onward.
