Following the Royal Household Bureau's announcement of the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, Duchess of Rajsarin Siripatchara Maha Vajiraratchathida, earlier this morning, the news brought profound sorrow to Thai citizens nationwide. At the Bancha Museum, a rare historical photo exhibition of “Phra Ong Pha” was arranged to pay respects and remember her unmatched royal kindness.
On 12 June 2026, at Bancha Museum, Village No. 4, Khun Thip Alley, Aranyik Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province, Mr. Bancha Wajasuwan, the museum owner, presented his valuable collection of photographs that he had preserved for many years for public viewing.
Most of the exhibits are covers from well-known magazines of the past, capturing the princess’s image in various poses—from performing royal duties, working in law and justice, to moments filled with compassion and humility.
Mr. Bancha said that all the photos were collected out of loyalty and admiration for the princess’s character. Upon learning of the royal announcement, he decided to display these images so the public could remember her royal benevolence and the dedicated service she devoted to the people and the nation throughout her life.
The atmosphere inside the museum today was solemn, with visitors gradually arriving to view the historical images and join in mourning the passing of the beloved princess, who was deeply respected by all Thais.
