At 20:15 on 16 June 2026, it was reported that a road subsidence occurred on the outbound side of Ladprao Road heading toward Bang Kapi Market, in front of Lotus department store. All related agencies are continuously working to resolve the issue. Traffic police from Ladprao station are managing safety, facilitating traffic, and expediting vehicle flow in the area at all times.
Meanwhile, traffic in the area has been slowing down with congestion extending to Happy Land intersection. The public is urged to avoid the outbound Ladprao Road near Bang Kapi and allow extra time for travel.
The latest update at 21:00 reports that officials are pumping all water out of the drainage pipes to inspect and prepare the area before pouring concrete and sand into the subsided spot as part of the repair process. This aims to reinforce the structure and restore the road surface to normal use as quickly as possible.
