Je Sai Truck Owner Faces Charges, Insists on Paying Fines Directly, Denies Extortion Payments

Not a boss lady (influential figure) "Je Sai" The owner of the customized truck has acknowledged the charges, insisting she paid fines in cash, never paid protection money, and is preparing to file complaints against those who have defamed her.

Following the closure announcements of the Facebook pages "Traffic Sergeant Sai Noi" and "Here is Sai Noi," suspicions arose about the recent arrest of a tractor-trailer truck on 11 June 2026, which sparked widespread online discussion. Subsequently, the police officer who owns the Facebook page clarified the situation, as previously reported.)Sai Noi police officer "Sergeant Jak" explains reasons for closing the page, confirms no link to the tractor-trailer arrest,The police officer who owns the "Here is Sai Noi" pageexplains reasons for closing the page, confirms no link to the customized truck case)

On 22 June 2026, reporters at Sai Noi Police Station reported that Angkana, known as Je Sai, 42, from Nakhon Pathom, the driver and owner of the 22-wheel customized tractor-trailer with Nakhon Pathom license plates shown in the viral video, appeared to surrender to Police Colonel Natdecha Thanisapathrapong, chief of Sai Noi Police Station, bringing the vehicle involved.

Angkana said she was the driver and owner on the day of the incident. She was driving in the right lane without a license plate, violating traffic rules, so the police stopped her and asked to see her driver's license. She drove right because the left lane was crowded. After being told by police that driving right was wrong, she accepted the charge and allowed officers to write a ticket. She was in a hurry to work but was asked to wait for a superior officer.

Police said they could not issue a ticket because there was no license plate. She retrieved the detached plate from the front of the truck, but police still refused to issue the ticket, saying the plate must be properly attached first. She lacked the tools to reattach the plate, but police were firm. She accepted she would have to pay the fine at Sai Noi Police Station. The incident occurred on 11 June at about 10:20 a.m. Her truck was transporting sand from Sai Noi to Sai 1 village. She never revealed her identity and drives to Sai Noi about once a month. She came to confirm she is not an influential figure, does not pay protection money, and is not involved in any power networks. She waited hours on the day of arrest for mediation because police arrested her without notification, which angered her and led her to threaten legal action for unlawful detention. The police chief agreed to warn officers, which calmed her down.

Angkana added that despite social media criticism, she and the Sai Noi police chief are strangers who have tried to resolve issues amicably. She denied using connections or favors. The customized truck is her personal hobby, and she accepted the police fines accordingly. She loves trucks and enjoys beautifying them. She has never caused fatal accidents and her vehicle is insured and complies with compulsory insurance laws.

Previously, she paid nearly 2 million baht in damages after a motorbike accident fatality, although other vehicles usually cause accidents. She had overloaded her truck before but has since stopped. Her modifications are purely aesthetic because she likes it.

The decorative doll on the truck's front is for appearance only, not protection money. She said no one told her to pay any such fees. Everyone handles their own issues; she is only guilty of having a customized racing-style truck and accepts paying fines. Personal tastes differ. She accepts being fined, even if others find it unsightly.

To those crudely criticizing her truck's modifications, she asked what they are thinking. Each customized vehicle costs hundreds of thousands. She accepts being fined for her hobby. She will take legal action against those who post her truck's photos online with defamatory comments.

Police Colonel Natdecha Thanisapathrapong, Sai Noi Police Chief, said the truck owner threatened to sue officers for unlawful detention on the incident day. He explained legal provisions clarify that detention occurred during official duties. He defended his officers and explained the law to the truck driver to ease tensions.

Regarding the truck's violations, officers enforced all traffic laws. However, social media criticism has targeted him, his superiors, and his family unfairly, which is unrelated to the case and distressing. He does not personally know the truck driver. He questioned who would take responsibility for the harm done to him and his family.

Sai Noi Police Station has arrested all trucks breaking laws in the area. His duty is to maintain peace in Sai Noi district and perform his job properly but faces criticism. If defamatory attacks continue, he will press charges to protect his honor and dignity.

Sergeant Bannaphop Sangphairoj, Traffic Unit Supervisor at Sai Noi Police and owner of the 'Traffic Sergeant Sai Noi' page, said the page closure was unrelated to the truck incident. The police chief never interfered with his page. He manages the page alone, receiving many complaints, making it hard to address all community issues. He paused the page to improve operations. The closure date was well separated from the incident date.
