The Royal Gazette has issued a royal decree appointing "Professors" in various academic fields, totaling 20 individuals from nine universities.
24 June 2026 GMT+7 The Royal Gazette website published a Prime Minister's Office announcement titled "Appointment of Professors" stating that a royal decree has appointed university staff from Khon Kaen University, Kasetsart University, Ubon Ratchathani University, and Silpakorn University to the position of Professor in various academic disciplines, effective from the dates they fully met the qualifications, totaling 10 individuals.
1. Associate Professor Naththida Weerapriyakun of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Khon Kaen University, appointed as Professor in Pharmacy and Technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Khon Kaen University, effective 1 April 2021.
2. Associate Professor Praew Kotruchin of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, appointed as Professor in Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, effective 13 June 2023.
3. Associate Professor Rangrong Yoksan of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University, appointed as Professor in Packaging Technology at the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University, effective 1 November 2021.
