Crime Suppression Division to Summon SWU, Local Administration, Exam Printing House, and 10 Local Officials for Questioning in Exam Fraud Case

"Crime Suppression Division" Preparing to summon Srinakharinwirot University, the Department of Local Administration, the exam printing house, and 10 local government officials for questioning in the local exam fraud case while urgently reviewing audio clips involving "Mr. Kit" and "Mrs. Som," confirming no one has been issued an arrest warrant yet.

At 10:00 a.m. on 26 June 2026, Pol. Col. Netiwit Thanasitnitikul, Superintendent of Division 2, Crime Suppression Division, revealed progress in the corruption case involving local government staff recruitment exams after attending a strategy meeting with Pol. Lt. Gen. Nattasak Chaowanasai, Commissioner of the Crime Suppression Division, stating that clear investigative guidelines have been set and preparations are underway to issue summonses to all individuals involved in the exam process for questioning.

Those to be summoned include the TOR drafting committees from Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) and the Department of Local Administration (DLA), executives of the exam printing house in Samut Prakan Province, 10 local government officials who appeared in video clips at the time of the arrest, as well as victims, to compile all information into the investigation file, as this is a high-profile case attracting wide public attention.

Pol. Col. Netiwit added that regarding the leaked audio recordings of a man and woman referred to as "Mr. Kit" and "Mrs. Som," which contain allegations and claims of involvement with the exam-buying network and connections to high-level individuals, investigators are currently verifying the facts and thoroughly examining the links. If evidence shows their involvement in wrongdoing, authorities will promptly summon them for questioning and take legal action.

Additionally, the Crime Suppression Division plans to establish a joint task force between the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) and the Anti-Corruption Division (ACD) to integrate operations, since the ACD has already been actively working on the case and holds relevant data. The CSD will combine this information with evidence in the case file to expand the investigation comprehensively.

However, no new arrest warrants have been issued at this time, as all steps remain focused on carefully collecting evidence to ensure the case is solid and those responsible can be prosecuted according to the law.
