
Nestlé has appointed a new CEO for Nestlé Indochina, which includes Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. The appointment comes from the headquarters and will take effect from 1 July 2026, replacing the previous CEO who retired.
On 29 June, reporters reported that Nestlé, a major food and beverage manufacturer, announced the appointment of Mr. Nikil Shah as Chairman and CEO of Nestlé Indochina, covering Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia, effective from 1 July 2026. Mr. Nikil succeeds Mr. Victor See, who retired after serving as CEO of the Indochina region for eight years.
Mr. Nikil has worked for Nestlé in various countries for 30 years, beginning his career in India in 1998. He advanced in marketing and commercial roles across Brazil, Chile, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Russia, and Singapore. He has driven growth for key Nestlé brands across multiple product categories. Before his new role, Mr. Nikil was CEO of Nestlé’s Food Business Unit at the headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland, leading global food business strategy development, driving innovation, and expanding key trade channels based on a deep understanding of rapidly evolving and diverse consumer lifestyles.
