Ratchaburi Province Partners with Medical Governance Foundation for Colorectal Cancer Screening to Honor the Supreme Patriarch

Ratchaburi Province, in collaboration with the Medical Governance Foundation, has launched colorectal cancer screenings dedicated to honoring the Supreme Patriarch, aiming to create opportunities for access to effective medical treatment and care.

On 30 June 2026, it was reported that at 08:30 on 27 June at Ban Pong Hospital in Ratchaburi, Air Chief Marshal Dr. Itthaporn Kancharoen, Secretary-General of the Medical Governance Foundation; Ms. Thitilak Khampha, Governor of Ratchaburi; Dr. Pajaree Areerob, Chief Medical Officer of Ratchaburi; Ms. Kulthida Phaya, Ban Pong District Chief; Dr. Wiboon Phattanapadikon, Director of Ban Pong Hospital; alongside the Medical Governance Foundation, the Medical Council, Mahidol Thibet Institute, and senior executive medical governance students (classes 1-12) participated.

They jointly organized the "Volunteer Medical Unit Project to Honor Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatayana (Amphrom Mahathera), the Supreme Patriarch of the Sangha Council," to create opportunities for access to effective medical care and help prevent colorectal cancer risks for residents of Ratchaburi and nearby areas. The target groups included monks, the elderly, and the general public aged between 50 and 70.

Subsequently, the group visited the colorectal cancer screening clinic, where screenings via colonoscopy were conducted. They encouraged the doctors, nurses, staff, and citizens who came for screening today. The event received cooperation from expert medical teams, including gastroenterologists from Phaholpolpayuhasena Hospital, surgeons and gastroenterologists from Ban Pong Hospital, and senior executive medical governance students. This project united medical personnel and all relevant agencies in serving the public. The atmosphere was orderly and filled with deep gratitude for the royal benevolence.
