On 1 July, reporters reported that Bayer (Thailand) Ltd., a German company specializing in pharmaceuticals and crop protection products, appointed Mr. Weeraphon Charoenpanich as Managing Director for Thailand, effective from 1 July 2026. He will also continue as head of the Crop Science business group for Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar. This reflects Mr. Weeraphon's leadership role and extensive experience in driving Bayer's business growth in Thailand. He has played a significant role in fostering close cooperation with various sectors including government, civil society, and private companies. Additionally, he has led the application of innovation and sustainable development concepts to continuously advance the agricultural sector. He also supports investments aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and capabilities of Thai farmers in the long term.
Mr. Weeraphon graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Kasetsart University. He joined Bayer in 2019 and has over 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry. He is skilled in driving business growth, building partnerships, and developing sustainable strategies to support farmers and the agricultural sector.
