On 2 July 2026, the Bang Rak District Office informed residents in and around the area that on the night of Friday, 3 July 2026, between approximately 20:50 and 20:51, there will be a fireworks display on the Chao Phraya River in front of the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok. The fireworks event has been properly permitted and authorized.

The fireworks may produce loud noise affecting vulnerable groups. The Bang Rak District Office apologizes for any inconvenience and noise disturbance during the specified time and date.
