The Meteorological Department issued its 4th bulletin warning provinces of strong winds and heavy rain. Typhoon "Bavi" is expected to make landfall in China around 11–12 July, impacting Thailand by intensifying the covering monsoon winds.

On 10 July 2026, the websiteMeteorological Departmentissued Bulletin No. 4 on strong winds in the Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand, and heavy to very heavy rain in the southern west coast, western central region, and eastern region (effective until 15 July 2026).

It stated that from 10 to 15 July 2026, the southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand will be strong, causing waves in the upper Andaman Sea to reach 2-4 meters high, with waves exceeding 4 meters in areas with thunderstorms. The upper Gulf of Thailand and lower Andaman Sea will have waves 2-3 meters high, exceeding 3 meters in stormy areas. Fishermen in these seas should navigate cautiously and avoid sailing in thunderstorms. Small boats are advised to stay ashore during this period.

From 11 to 14 July 2026, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in the southern west coast, western central region, and eastern region, especially in Ranong, Phang Nga, Chanthaburi, Trat, and Kanchanaburi provinces.
