The Nine Center Tiwanon Opens Student Market Year 5 to Develop Youth Entrepreneurship Skills

The Nine Center Tiwanon shopping mall collaborates to promote learning beyond the classroom by providing space for the 'Student Market Year 5' event aimed at nurturing youth into young entrepreneurs

On 11 July 2026, reporters reported that The Nine Center Tiwanon shopping mall promoted learning outside the classroom by organizing the 'Student Market Year 5,' opening space to welcome young vendors from schools and communities in Bang Kadi municipality to practice professional skills, build brands, and earn extra income, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.

Ms. Phutthachad Srinisakorn, Chief Marketing Officer, along with Ms. Satkamon Worakul, Senior Director of Corporate Communications at MBK Public Company Limited, welcomed Ms. Suphanit Sriphram, Deputy Mayor of Bang Kadi Municipality, who came to view products and encourage students acting as young vendors from 11 local schools, including Wat Chinwararam School, Ban Mai Watthana School, Wat Bot School, Wat Sadet Community School, Wat Bangkudithong School, Wat Bangpoon School, Wat Bangkadi Community School, Lincoln School, Khajonsap Amnu School, Wat Chang School, Wat Thian Thawai School, and Wat Nawong School, offering food, household items, and handmade products for sale.

This event aimed to provide experience and inspire youth to become young entrepreneurs by learning the entire business process—from product development, production, marketing, to managing costs and profits, and service skills—to grow into sustainable entrepreneurs in the future. Additionally, booths from community enterprises in Pathum Thani province helped distribute income within the community.

Moreover, the event featured special promotions: customers spending 100 baht at the student market received 1 kilogram of Khao Ruang Kaeo rice from Maboonkrong Rice, along with workshops on eco-friendly inventions, teaching how to create value from waste and recycled paper by making stylish ECO Worry Stones to foster environmental consciousness among youth.

The event also included cultural and entertainment performances to brighten and bring smiles to shoppers, such as traditional cultural shows like the flame at candle tip, Lhong Mae Ping dance, Khajonrak Thai dance, lotus flower dance, promotion of local culture, Muay Thai musical demonstrations, performances on the khim and angkalung instruments, entertaining shows, traditional Indian dance, comedy skits combining various forms, and The Righteous Star dance performance.
