The Nine Center Tiwanon Launches Student Market Year 5 to Develop Youth Career Skills

The Nine Center Tiwanon shopping mall collaborated to promote learning beyond the classroom by opening the space "Student Market Year 5" and nurturing youth into young entrepreneurs

On 11 July 2026, reporters reported that The Nine Center Tiwanon shopping mall promoted out-of-classroom learning by organizing the "Student Market Year 5" event, opening a space to welcome young sellers from schools and communities in the Bang Kadi municipality area. They gathered to practice career skills, build brands, and earn extra income, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere.

Miss Puttachad Srinisakorn, Chief Marketing Officer, along with Miss Satkamol Worakul, Senior Director of Corporate Communications at MBK Public Company Limited, welcomed Miss Suphanit Sriphraram, Deputy Mayor of Bang Kadi Municipality, who came to view the products and encourage the students acting as vendors. Participants came from 12 schools in the area, including Wat Chinwararam School, Ban Mai Watthana School, Wat Bot School, Wat Sadet Community School, Wat Bangkudithong School, Wat Bangpoon School, Wat Bangkadi Community School, Lincoln Suksa Secondary School, Khajornsap Amnueng School, Wat Chang School, Wat Thian Thawai School, and Wat Nawong School, bringing food, daily necessities, and handmade products to sell.

The event aimed to create experiences and inspire youth entrepreneurship by teaching the business process—from product development, production, distribution, to managing costs and profits, as well as service skills—preparing them to grow into sustainable entrepreneurs in the future. There were also booths from community enterprises in Pathum Thani province to help distribute income to local communities.

Additionally, the event featured special promotions: shoppers spending 100 baht at the student market received a free 1-kilogram bag of Khao Ruang Kaeo rice from Maboonkrong Rice. A workshop on eco-friendly inventions taught how to add value from waste by transforming recycled paper into stylish ECO Worry Stones, fostering environmental awareness among youth.

Cultural and entertainment performances were held to brighten the event and bring smiles to shoppers. These included cultural shows such as the Candle Flame Dance, Ping River Floating Dance, Khajon Rak Thai Dance, and Lotus Dance; promotion of local culture; Muay Thai musical demonstrations; performances on traditional Thai instruments like the khim and angkalung; entertainment shows; Indian cultural dances; comedy skits titled "Yam Yai Nang"; and a dance performance called The Righteous Star.
