
The Sattahip district administration joined forces with the 2nd Naval Military Police Battalion, Sattahip Police Station, Sattahip Municipality, and related agencies to inspect entertainment venues and restaurants in the area to enhance safety measures and fire prevention.
Regarding the incident fire at a brewery on Lat Phrao Road On 14 July 2026, reporters reported that late last night (13 July 2026), Mr. Nattawut Anuyotha, Sattahip district chief, along with Lieutenant Commander Natthapon Pinket, commander of the 2nd Naval Military Police Battalion, and Petty Officer 1st Class Wutthichai Wuttivitayangkul, senior sanitation officer of Sattahip Municipality, led officials from the district administration, the 2nd Naval Military Police Battalion, Sattahip Police Station, and related agencies to inspect several establishments in Sattahip district.
This inspection focused on assessing fire prevention and suppression systems, readiness of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, exit signs, and evacuation plans for emergencies, while urging operators to comply strictly with legal and safety standards.
Officials inspected several venues, including Sattahip bars, Artist Isan Restaurant, Freedom Restaurant, and others, providing advice on improving risk areas to enhance safety and build confidence among residents and tourists using services in Sattahip district.
Authorities emphasized that this inspection is a preventive measure to raise operators’ awareness of safety systems and reduce fire risks at all establishments.
Sattahip district previously experienced a tragic fire at the Mountain B entertainment venue on the night of 5 August 2022. During a music performance, fire rapidly spread from the ceiling and flammable decorative materials, causing panic and a mass evacuation, resulting in 22 deaths and dozens of injuries.
