Heavy rain is forecast in parts of the northern, northeastern, central regions including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the eastern region due to the southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand with moderate strength, along with a low-pressure area over northern Vietnam. Residents in upper Thailand are advised to be cautious of dangers from heavy and accumulated rain.

In the upper Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand, waves reach 1-2 meters high, while in the lower Andaman Sea waves are about 1 meter high. Areas with thunderstorms may see waves exceeding 2 meters. Mariners are urged to navigate cautiously and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, a strong low-pressure area in the Pacific Ocean is expected to intensify into a tropical depression and pass over northern Philippines around 24–25 July 2026.

Northern region.

There is a 70% chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas including Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun provinces. Temperatures range from 22-26°C (low) to 29-34°C (high). Winds come from the southwest at 10-20 km/h.


Northeastern region.

There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas including Udon Thani, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Amnat Charoen, and Ubon Ratchathani provinces. Temperatures range from 23-25°C (low) to 29-35°C (high). Winds come from the southwest at 10-20 km/h.


Central region.

There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas including Lopburi, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, and Ratchaburi provinces. Temperatures range from 24-26°C (low) to 33-36°C (high). Winds come from the southwest at 10-20 km/h.


Eastern region.

There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas including Nakhon Nayok, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat provinces. Temperatures range from 24-28°C (low) to 33-35°C (high). Winds come from the southwest at 15-35 km/h. Sea waves are 1-2 meters high, with waves over 2 meters in thunderstorm areas.


Southern region (east coast).

There is a 30% chance of thunderstorms mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Pattani, and Yala provinces. Temperatures range from 24-26°C (low) to 34-36°C (high). Winds come from the southwest at 15-30 km/h. Sea waves reach about 1 meter, over 1 meter offshore, and exceed 2 meters in thunderstorm areas.


Southern region (west coast).

There is a 40% chance of thunderstorms mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun provinces. Temperatures range from 24-27°C (low) to 32-35°C (high). From Phang Nga northwards, winds come from the southwest at 15-35 km/h, seas have waves 1-2 meters high, and thunderstorm areas have waves over 2 meters. From Phuket southwards, winds come from the southwest at 15-30 km/h, seas have waves about 1 meter high, and waves exceed 2 meters in thunderstorm areas.
