The ongoing conflict in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has directly impacted the global fuel supply chain and shows no signs of resolution soon.
This has caused significant volatility in crude oil and refined oil prices, affecting domestic fuel prices and increasing living costs and business expenses.
To address and prevent fuel shortages, the Energy Policy Administration Committee, in its 8/2569 meeting on 23 July 2026, approved a 2.40 baht per liter price cut for rapid-circulation diesel at refineries, effective from 24 July to 15 August 2026.
Under the authority of Section 3 (1) of the Fuel Shortage Prevention and Mitigation Act B.E. 2516 and Section 3 (1) of Prime Minister's Order No. 15/2562 dated 4 October 2019 concerning measures to address fuel shortages, the Energy Policy Administration Committee hereby issues the following announcement.
Article 1: The previous announcement of the Energy Policy Administration Committee regarding the reduction of refinery prices for rapid-circulation diesel dated 8 July 2026 is hereby revoked.
Article 2: The refinery price for rapid-circulation diesel shall be reduced from 24 July 2026 to 15 August 2026 as follows.
(1) The refinery price for rapid-circulation diesel B0 is reduced by 2.40 baht per liter.
(2) The refinery price for standard rapid-circulation diesel B7 is reduced by 2.40 baht per liter.
(3) The refinery price for rapid-circulation diesel B20 is reduced by 2.40 baht per liter.
This price adjustment takes effect from 24 July 2026 onwards.
