On 24 July 2026 GMT+7, the Royal Gazette website issued a proclamation granting an official ecclesiastical title, stating that His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun has graciously bestowed the ecclesiastical title. Phra Ratchawacharat of Wat Kai Tia, Bangkok as Phra Kru Watcharat to better suit the performance of religious duties.
This has been effective since 23 July 2026 GMT+7.
