It states that from 26 to 30 July 2026, many areas in Thailand will experience heavy rain, with some places in the Northeast, Central, East, and the western side of the South experiencing very heavy rain. This is due to a monsoon trough passing through the North and Upper Northeast regions, combined with strengthening southwest monsoon winds over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. The public is advised to be cautious of heavy to very heavy rainfall and accumulated rain that may cause sudden flash floods and mountain runoff, especially in foothill areas near waterways and low-lying plains.
Winds and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are quite strong, with waves 2-3 meters high; in areas with thunderstorms, waves may exceed 3 meters. In the upper Gulf of Thailand and lower Andaman Sea, waves are about 2 meters high, rising above 2 meters in thunderstorms. Fishermen in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand are advised to navigate cautiously and avoid sailing in stormy conditions. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should refrain from going out to sea during this period.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm "Noul" has now moved over Guangdong Province, China. Travelers to that area should check weather conditions before departure.
