Later, Mrs. Panisara Nettharnthon, Din Daeng District Director, accompanied by district officials, inspected the incident inside Soi Prachasongkhro 28, Din Daeng Subdistrict, Din Daeng District.
Inspection revealed the incident involved a building undergoing demolition, not a collapse as previously reported. During demolition, the building subsided causing debris to fall onto nearby homes, damaging three houses.
Interviewing the contractor, Ms. Jirawan Pho-ngan, site supervisor, stated the building was originally five stories tall and currently about three stories remain during demolition. The contractor had not coordinated with the Din Daeng District Office before starting demolition but confirmed they will take responsibility for repairing all damage to affected residents.
The Din Daeng District Director instructed the contractor company to strictly comply with laws and safety measures, implement precautions to prevent impacts on nearby residents and properties, and swiftly repair damages to relieve residents' difficulties.
