
The National Water Resources Office has issued a watch for flash floods and waterlogging during 28 July to 1 August in Trat and Chanthaburi provinces. Check which areas are affected.
On 28 July 2026, the Facebook page ofthe National Water Resources Officeposted a notice stating: Flood and waterlogging watch from 28 July to 1 August 2026.
The monsoon trough passes through the northern and upper northeastern regions. Combined with a strengthening southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand, a warning is issued to monitor urban areas prone to waterlogging floods.
This includes areas at risk of flash floods, flash runoff, and landslides due to heavy to very heavy rainfall and accumulated rain from 28 July to 1 August 2026 in the following areas. In Trat province: Bo Rai, Khao Saming, Khlong Yai, and Mueang Trat districts; and in Chanthaburi province: Khao Khitchakut, Khlung, Soi Dao, Pong Nam Ron, and Mueang Chanthaburi districts.
