On 28 July 2026, Bang Luang Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Pathumthani Province, organized a royal tribute event honoring His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of his 74th birthday anniversary at the dome area of Pathumthani "Nantamuni Bamrung" Bang Luang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathumthani Province, with Ms. Sukanya Disawat, Mayor of Bang Luang Subdistrict, presiding over the ceremony. Also present were Mr. Ramthana Wijitkan (former mayor), municipal executives, council members, department heads, officials, village chiefs, employees, students, traders, and citizens from all sectors attending the event together.
The event was filled with a joyful and loyal atmosphere, featuring dance tributes to honor His Majesty from students of Bang Luang Subdistrict Child Development Center 1, performances by students from Child Development Center 2, dances by senior citizen school students from two cohorts, a dance by the Mon Club of Pathumthani at Bang Luang Temple, and a traditional Thai flute performance by the senior citizen school's student leader of the second cohort.
In addition, Kung Suthirat Wongthewan and Nong Nes Prakaiphet, likay drama actresses, joined the dance tribute to honor His Majesty the King, dedicating the performance as a royal merit and expression of loyalty.
Afterward, municipal council members, department heads, schools, private sector, and citizens laid golden and silver floral trays in front of the King's portrait.
Next, a ceremony was held to offer blessings and light candles in honor of the King, a longstanding tradition practiced on all birthday celebrations to allow subjects to express loyalty and gratitude for His Majesty's benevolence toward the Thai people.
Ms. Sukanya Disawat, Mayor of Bang Luang Subdistrict and ceremony chairperson, paid respects before the King's portrait, then laid golden and silver floral trays, incense, candles, and opened a flower garland cone arrangement.
The chairperson then led attendees in offering blessings, expressing loyalty by invoking the Triple Gem and sacred entities to protect and grant His Majesty the King longevity, good health, and to remain a blessing to the Thai people forever.
At the ceremony's conclusion, the chairperson and participants jointly lit candles to offer blessings amid the playing of the royal anthem, followed by a powerful rendition of the "Hymn to the King" echoing throughout the area and a unified chant of "Long Live the King" three times with deep joy and profound gratitude for His Majesty's kindness.
