Most recently (31 Jul 2026), it was reported that Mr. Pornsak Wipasa-apanon, known as Lawyer Tui, posted an update that in the criminal case involving Aunt Khayan, both defendants confessed to the charges, admitting they stole Aunt Khayan’s lottery tickets and burned them. The defendants agreed to compensate Aunt Khayan 150,000 baht for other damages and apologized to her in court.
Aunt Khayan reserves the right to receive the prize money from the Government Lottery Office.
The court sentenced both defendants to 1 year in prison (reduced), fined each 10,000 baht, suspended the prison sentence for 2 years, and ordered 24 hours of community service. They must report to probation officers four times.
