The family brought the body of “Halun Solo” for a new autopsy at the Institute of Forensic Science to thoroughly determine the cause of death once again. The Deputy Director of the Institute explained the procedure for examining internal organs.
A reporter reported that at 09:16 on 6 August 2026 at the Institute of Forensic Science, Ministry of Justice (CIFS), Som Sang Road, Ban Mai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province, a white van with license plate 5ขฒ-661 Bangkok, carrying the body of “Halun Solo,” arrived to conduct a detailed autopsy to find the cause of death. Many media were present to cover the event.
When the vehicle arrived at the building where the autopsy of “Halun Solo” would take place, the body was contained in a black wooden coffin. Assistant Professor Worawit Waiwut, Deputy Director of the Institute of Forensic Science, along with staff from the institute, were present to receive the body, which had been transferred from the airport.
The body of “Halun Solo” was then placed on a cart with the coffin and taken inside the forensic institute building designated for the autopsy.
It is known that after the autopsy, the family will take the body back to their hometown in Kalasin province as planned. The family will hold a Buddhist prayer ceremony for three nights before proceeding with the cremation.
Assistant Professor Worawit Waiwut, Deputy Director of the Institute of Forensic Science, said in an interview that initially they must review the documents and details that came with the body because the institute has not yet received any information. They will examine this together with the family. When the body arrives, officials and doctors will first scan the external body to check details externally. Then they will conduct the autopsy to examine internal organs to determine the cause of death. The autopsy takes about two hours, after which the results will be communicated directly to the family, who can then proceed to take the body for religious ceremonies.
Regarding the autopsy requested by the family to clarify the cause of death, the scope of information shared with the media must be discussed with the family first to determine what details can be disclosed. This is the family’s right and a matter of respecting the deceased.
