The brother and relatives of popular YouTuber 'Halun Solo' moved his body, placed in an ivory-cream Louis triple-layer coffin, out of the Forensic Science Institute to travel for funeral rites at his hometown in Kalasin Province.
At 9:00 a.m. on 7 August 2026, at the Forensic Science Institute, Ministry of Justice, Somdet Road, Ban Mai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province, reporters observed Apichat Yooket, known as “Hia Leng,” presenting an ivory-cream Louis coffin and a white urn to Somsak Butsri, called “Mos,” the older brother of Halun Solo, to place his body for transport from the Forensic Science Institute to conduct traditional funeral rites in his hometown of Kalasin Province.
Apichat Yooket, “Hia Leng,” owner of “Hia Leng Funeral Services,” said he came from his shop near Wat Thawee Kar Anan (in the Talat Thai area), Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. He contacted Mos, Halun Solo’s older brother, after hearing of Halun Solo's death. As a fan who had followed all his videos—especially those of international travel to places they had never been, such as Jordan and the Dead Sea—he admired these greatly and began following him. Today, he brought the ivory-cream Louis triple-layer coffin and a white urn for the final, pure journey of the deceased. This was coordinated with Halun Solo’s brother in advance.
“Hia Leng” added that regarding the numbers on the coffin lid, he wished to clarify this was a personal belief. The number 99 appeared on the lid; normally, when two digits are found, the shop adds a third digit. But seeing 99, symbolizing a journey, he felt it directly represented Halun Solo. Therefore, he decided not to change or add numbers. The number 99 thus remains as a personal belief. He also expressed his deepest condolences to Halun Solo’s family and relatives at this time.
At 9:30 a.m., Somsak Butsri (“Mos”), the older brother, arrived with relatives and received the Louis coffin and urn from “Hia Leng.” At 9:50 a.m., two vans from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Political Science, along with university staff and professors, arrived at the Forensic Science Institute. Phra Kru Panya from Wat Pathum Wanaram also came to perform a ritual inviting the spirit of Halun Solo.
At 10:06 a.m., officials at the Forensic Science Institute moved Halun Solo’s body, placed in the Louis coffin, out of the autopsy room. Phra Kru Panya from Wat Pathum Wanaram led the procession holding a sacred thread connected to the coffin. Mos, the older brother, carried a tray with a box and monk’s robes, while another relative held an incense burner and female relatives carried a portrait of the deceased. They boarded a white van with license plate 5ขฒ-661 Bangkok, departing from the Forensic Science Institute. Two more vans from Chulalongkorn University followed in procession. The convoy headed back to Halun Solo’s hometown in Kalasin Province to continue religious ceremonies, with an estimated travel time of about 7-8 hours.
