Daughter of Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization Chief Receives Fathers Body from Forensic Institute, Affirms Only One Truth

The grieving family came to receive the body of Police Colonel Thongchai Yenprasert Chief of Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization. Meanwhile, his daughter opened up about the 11 million baht issue, insisting there is only one truth.

At 10:00 on 11 Aug 2026 GMT+7, it was reported that the family of Police Colonel Thongchai Yenprasert, Chief of Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, arrived at the Police Hospital's Forensic Institute to receive his body after authorities completed the autopsy. The atmosphere was somber, with family and relatives gathered to receive the body amid deep sorrow over the loss.

Meanwhile, Miss Phatthasaporn Yenprasert, 37, daughter of Police Colonel Thongchai, stated that the family affirms there is only one truth. She believes the people of Nonthaburi know well what kind of person her father was. Throughout his career, he always gave and helped the citizens of Nonthaburi.

She also emphasized that if her father had no achievements or public trust, he would not have held the position of chief of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization for multiple terms. Before entering politics, he was well-prepared professionally and financially, choosing to sacrifice for the people of Nonthaburi.

Regarding his relationships or closeness to individuals possibly involved in the case, including the claim that they were friends as alleged by the other party, the daughter said this should be part of the case investigation. She asked that the police verify the facts and provide answers on these points.

When reporters asked whether the other party would be allowed to pay respects at the funeral, the family declined to answer the question.

The family dressed Police Colonel Thongchai's body in a white official uniform as a sign of respect and mourning before preparing for religious ceremonies.

The funeral rites and royal cremation ceremony will be held at Wat Saphan Sung, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, from 11 to 19 August 2026 GMT+7. On 11 August at 15:00 there will be a water-pouring ritual, followed by the evening Buddhist prayer ceremony at 19:00. The royal cremation ceremony is scheduled for 19 August at 17:00.
