Authorities have not yet located the individual. The "mentally ill man." After causing a disturbance at an elementary school in the Bang Bua Thong area, the governor of Nonthaburi ordered local administrators to oversee four schools in Bang Bua Thong subdistrict.
The case involves Mr. Yut, or Bangrim, 37 years old (alias), a mentally ill patient who became violent and caused a disturbance at Pracharat Bamrung School, an early childhood to elementary institution in Village No. 4, Bang Bua Thong subdistrict. He then escaped arrest by driving against authorities. The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on 11 August 2026.
Most recently, at 7:00 a.m. on 13 August 2026, reporters visited Pracharat Bamrung School, an early childhood to elementary school in Village No. 4, Bang Bua Thong subdistrict. They found local administrators and village heads from Bang Bua Thong district inspecting the school before students arrived, concerned the mentally ill man might cause further disturbances.
Upon inquiry, Ms. Chuanakorn Yokinmichinja, village head of Village No. 4, Bang Bua Thong subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi, said that Mr. Chettha Mosikharat, the Nonthaburi governor, had instructed local authorities to oversee four schools in Bang Bua Thong subdistrict. Village heads were assigned to monitor and watch for this mentally ill individual attempting to disturb Pracharat Bamrung School again. Therefore, they are stationed there all day. Since early morning, no unusual activity has occurred.
Moving forward, officials will continue to provide special surveillance at this location, while another team will join police officers in tracking the suspect, whose time of reappearance remains unknown.
A good citizen reported seeing the suspect sitting on a bus, but I believe this is unlikely because the suspect primarily uses a motorcycle. Both previous encounters involved him on a motorcycle. Also, his appearance has changed from before—now with a dark complexion and larger build, unlike the shared photos. It might have been someone who looks very similar.
Currently, cooperation with investigators from Bang Bua Thong police is ongoing to track the suspect, who uses a dark brown new-model Honda Wave motorcycle without license plates.
