. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is preparing to send staff to collect bulk trash in the target areas on 15-16 August, dividing operations over two days according to each district office’s schedule as follows.
Residents are advised to sort their bulk trash properly before disposal—for example, furniture, electrical appliances, and sports equipment larger than one meter should be cut into smaller pieces. Heavy items should be separated, and smaller pieces bundled together neatly. Prepare your ID card to show to staff (electricity or water bills may be used as substitutes).

2. Present identification to verify ownership.
3. Staff will collect and transport the trash to disposal sites free of charge.
Additionally, if you have a large amount of bulk trash or live far from scheduled points, you can contact the sanitation and public parks department of your district office for services subject to a fee as per government regulations. Warning: Improper disposal obstructs Bangkok’s drainage system and is punishable under the Cleanliness Act with a fine of 2,000 baht. Fines of up to 10,000 baht apply for dumping outside containers or designated areas, and dumping into waterways is punishable under the Criminal Code Section 380.
