Heated Confrontation at Garage: Yai V10 Demands Car from Half-Blood Young Man, Clashes with Mechanic Kit

A heated confrontation occurred at a garage when spare parts did not match expectations. "Yai V10" stormed in to reclaim a half-blood young man's car and clashed verbally with "Mechanic Kit," but in the end, they embraced and agreed to work toward a joint solution.

The case involves a half-blood young man seeking help from "Yai V10" after bringing his American classic car to a well-known automotive influencer for repairs. He paid 280,000 baht out of more than 500,000 baht, but after over a year, the work had made no progress, and the owner did not know the car's whereabouts, prompting a request for assistance to recover the vehicle.

The latest update, on the afternoon of 15 Aug 2026, saw "Yai V10," owner of V10 Garage and authorized representative of the victim, visit "Mechanic Kit's" garage to follow up and demand the car. Initially, the atmosphere was tense with fierce verbal exchanges as both sides explained their perspectives, amid media coverage and two police officers from Pak Khlong Rangsit station maintaining order.

Mechanic Kit insisted the car was not lost but stored at his garage. He explained the car arrived for repairs on 17 Jun 2024; originally it was blue, interior missing an engine, just a frame. They agreed to repaint it a mangosteen-purple color, install a new engine and electrical system, and replace all glass, with an agreed repair cost of about 500,000 baht.

The customer initially wanted the car finished within three months, but upon arrival, it required nearly complete rebuilding, so an extension was requested. The car was sent to an affiliated garage in another province for internal systems work, but issues arose over timing and concerns about the owner's lawyer involvement, fearing legal complications over deadlines. Consequently, the affiliated garage canceled the job and returned the car to Mechanic Kit's garage.

During discussions, the issue of the engine and spare parts not matching the owner's agreement was raised. Mechanic Kit clarified that although Lexus engines were initially mentioned, a Toyota engine was installed instead. He claimed to have informed the customer and had phone conversations regarding this change.

Another key point was that some spare parts did not match the agreement and some were sold without permission, preventing the original parts from being returned to the victim. "Yai V10" requested details and damage valuations, insisting on clarifying which parts were replaced, which were sold, and how responsibility would be handled.

Although the initial exchange was heated and confrontational—so intense that passersby expected a fight—the two sides ultimately managed to negotiate a resolution. The mood shifted from tension to friendliness when "Yai V10" and "Mechanic Kit" embraced and shook hands, agreeing to work on solving the problems together.

Initially, Mechanic Kit agreed to return the engine that did not meet the agreement and to compensate for the difference. Meanwhile, "Yai V10" is assessing the value of the engine, missing or sold parts, and other costs to calculate the refund amount to the victim. The car’s remains will be moved back to the garage as the owner requests.

"Yai V10" concluded by saying that his involvement was not intended to criticize the operator but to ensure the problem is addressed straightforwardly. He affirmed his readiness to assist both the car owner and the operator if disputes arise, encouraging all parties to communicate openly based on facts and seek a fair solution for everyone involved.
