On 16 August 2026 at Wat Pa Adunyararam, Mr. Chaiyong Kongsri, 68, former head of educational services at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, now retired, explained his involvement with establishing and building Wat Pa Adunyararam. In 1989, while working at Khon Kaen University, he purchased land to build a home in the Nong Waeng Trachu community. After completing the house, he moved in during 1992. By 1993, the community began expanding with more residents moving in.
At the location of Wat Pa Adunyararam back then, it was a dense forest without convenient roads. Mr. Khong Insee, serving as the temple trustee, consulted about building the temple and what steps to take. Mr. Chaiyong advised drafting documents to be submitted sequentially to the related authorities. He typed the documents at his workplace and then handed them to the temple trustee to officially apply for the temple's establishment in accordance with the Department of Religious Affairs regulations. It took some time until April 1998, when the Ministry of Education announced the official establishment of Wat Pa Adunyararam. The temple received the official letter and framed it, displaying it at the temple hall.
Mr. Chaiyong also commented after hearing "Pa Da's" media interview, saying, "The information is completely contradictory. How can she start speaking without a solid basis? She should speak with knowledge, not just to win." He stressed that the law clearly states from the beginning that when land is donated to a temple, it immediately becomes temple property. This is not like a casual purchase or a private transaction because donated land instantly becomes temple land.
