Tourists admire the 'Naga's Eye' on the rock slab at Phu Langka. A guide recommends the best travel time from June to October every year.
This has caused a sensation and generated great interest online with photos of a natural tourist spot along the Naga Cave trail, also known as 'Naga's Eye' (also called the Sacred Pool or Phu Langka's Navel) on the rock slab at Phu Langka, where a natural rock depression exists near Naga Cave. During the rainy season, water collects in this depression, creating an eye-like appearance. Visitors who see it often call it the 'Naga's Eye'.Read more: Tourists should not miss the 'Naga's Eye,' a natural rock pool that shines during the rainy season)
The spot called the 'Naga's Eye' is a natural phenomenon found along the 1.2-kilometer Naga Cave walking trail.
About 300 meters from Naga Cave, one encounters a rock formation resembling eyebrows and an eye. When the pool is full and photos are taken from a wide angle without tourists in the frame, the shape appears clearly like an eye. On sunny days, sunlight reflecting off the water surface creates a sparkling effect, resembling a glowing eye in a wondrous display.
Most recently (18 August 2026), Mr. Surak Laemchantuek, admin of the 'Here Bueng Khong Long' page and a tour guide, revealed that the post was shared since early August. As a regular guide leading tourists up Naga Cave, he did not expect the photo to attract such widespread attention and many likes and shares.
The guide also added advice for tourists wanting to see the beauty of 'Naga's Eye' or 'Sacred Pool' at Naga Cave. The most beautiful period is during the rainy season through its end, from June to October each year, when the pool is full of water just right to reflect sunlight, producing the most beautiful and complete image of the Naga's Eye. Those interested in experiencing this beauty and spiritual significance can visit Naga Cave in Bueng Khong Long district, Bueng Kan province during the rainy season.
