Thai people flocked to welcome “Nene Royal” at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), warmly holding cheering signs as she arrived to compete in the live performance round of America’s Got Talent (AGT) 2026, Season 21. Nene was excited and happy about the large turnout, assuring she would give her best performance.
On 19 August 2026 at 17:30 local time (corresponding to 07:30 on 20 August in Thailand), Ms. Rattikarn Kamoi, known as Praew or “Nene Royal,” a 16-year-old artist who has become a new global rock star legend through competing on America’s Got Talent (AGT) 2026 Season 21 and advancing to the final live round, arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), California, USA. Nene Royal and her family took about an hour before emerging at the passenger arrival area.
Mr. Kid Chatprapachai, president of the Thai-American Association of Southern California, approached to present a bouquet to Nene Royal and her mother, introduced himself, and informed them that many Thai community leaders and residents in Los Angeles had gathered to welcome, support, and cheer for her.
This made Nene Royal visibly excited and happy, smiling at everyone. Seeing Thai people holding welcome and cheering signs made her smile continuously. She thanked everyone for the unexpected warm welcome and told them she would perform with all her ability. She also allowed everyone to take commemorative photos before leaving Los Angeles International Airport to go to the Dena Pasadena Hotel, the accommodation for America’s Got Talent (AGT) contestants.
Mr. Kid Chatprapachai, president of the Thai-American Association of Southern California, revealed that before welcoming Nene Royal, the association held a meeting with Thai community members, officials, and various agencies at the Consulate General in Los Angeles to coordinate publicity encouraging Thai people, Americans, and foreigners in the U.S. to vote for her. Currently, tickets for the America’s Got Talent (AGT) 2026 Live Show are in high demand and sold out through August 25, the day Nene Royal will perform. Thai communities in several states have organized groups to promote and guide the voting process at restaurants, temples, and other venues to ensure correct voting. Everyone is wholeheartedly supporting Nene Royal to win this competition.
