20:42 On 28 August 2026, Rama 199 Radio Center received a report of a fire inside Khlong Thom Center on Worachak Road, Pom Prap Sattru Phai district. Firefighters were in the process of extinguishing the blaze.

20:50 Rama 199 Radio Center reported that the fire originated on the first floor, affecting shops inside Khlong Thom Center market. Fire stations from multiple areas including Suan Mali, Phaya Thai, Banthat Thong, Bang Rak, Phu Khao Thong, Samsen, Phahonyothin, Bang Pho, and Sutthisan swiftly mobilized to suppress the fire.

21:15 Rama 199 Radio Center reported the fire had fully engulfed the entire first floor and mezzanine within Khlong Thom Center but had not spread to adjacent buildings.
