The Pom Prap Sattru Phai District Office conducted an on-site inspection of the incident the Khlong Thom Center fire after firefighters recently brought the blaze under control. They have established a registration center for those affected to provide initial relief.
On 29 August 2026, regarding the Khlong Thom Center fire in Pom Prap Sattru Phai district, after firefighters sprayed water continuously to contain the blaze and parts of the roof and structure began to collapse from the heat, at 23:13 the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration page updated that the fire was under control, as previously reported (Fire contained at Khlong Thom Center; firefighters still applying water from outside)
Most recently, the Pom Prap Sattru Phai District Office, led by Mr. Samanmit Yangthaisong, District Director; Mr. Watchara Phataumpan; Ms. Pismay Pathawang, Assistant District Director; Mr. Preeda Oodlee, Head of Administration; and other relevant officials, inspected the fire site and set up a registration center for victims to provide initial relief from their hardships.
