The case began when the mother appealed to the media for help, announcing the search for her daughter who had disappeared with her boyfriend and could not be contacted for several days, fearing she might be in danger. A report was filed at Lat Ya Police Station.
Most recently, at 21:00 on 4 September 2026, Mr. Rapee Chamnanrua revealed that in the case of Nong Lookpla’s mysterious disappearance for 7 days, at approximately 18:39, Nong Lookpla contacted his child by phone. She said she would repair her phone and then video call. Relatives confirmed that the voice was indeed Nong Lookpla’s.
Meanwhile, Pol. Maj. Gen. Phasavee Ruangphu, Commander of Kanchanaburi Provincial Police, stated that he was informed by Sobprab Police Station in Lampang Province that they found Nong Lookpla on a bus returning to Kanchanaburi. Initial findings confirm she is safe.
