At Baan Pra-Athit, he called for a crackdown on gray foreign capital groups and protection of Thai interests, stressing that this initiative does not yet involve street protests.
This movement stems from public dissatisfaction with foreign nationals and gray capital groups of various nationalities—including Chinese, Burmese, Jewish, Indian, and Russian—engaged in illegal business, using Thais as "nominees" to acquire land, hold assets, and brazenly violate Thai laws, while the government neglects to adequately protect the rights of Thai citizens.
In Phuket, Thai people are harassed by Jewish settlers, but the state’s response misses the mark—authorities suppress people but fail to amend laws. In Chonburi, where many Chinese capitalists reside, he also plans protests. Further tours will cover many provinces nationwide due to numerous citizen complaints, reflecting distrust in the government and the Damrongtham Center.

Mr. Sonthi also responded to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul’s statement that "Thailand belongs to all Thais; there is no need to reclaim it." He viewed that Anutin was "playing innocent" and failing to recognize real problems, while criticizing the government for prioritizing benefits to big capitalists, such as expediting Data Center projects but delaying flood relief payments in Hat Yai.
He also mentioned the silent Khao Kradong case, despite the Supreme Court verdict, suggesting Anutin aims to hold on to the Interior Ministry post to prolong the issue.
He plans to expose new Ministry of Commerce regulations recently announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supachai Sutthammanon, which open doors for foreigners to harm Thai SMEs.
Regarding mass mobilization, there may be no overnight stays, but it promises to be significant, aiming to pressure the government to stop shielding big capitalists and genuinely care for Thai citizens.
When asked if he wanted to send a message to Anutin, Sonthi said he did not, as Anutin already has many advisors.
