Thapana, CEO of ThaiBev, received an honorary plaque and took part in an academic panel discussion on increasing income and enhancing people's capabilities on the occasion of the Royal Society's 100th anniversary.
Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev), received an honorary plaque from Professor Emeritus Dr. Surapol Issaragrisil, President of the Royal Society, in recognition of his support for the academic conference held to mark the Royal Society's 100th anniversary and the 50th memorial of Prince Voravongse Thawathorn, Prince of Narathip Phongpraphan, the father of terminology standardization, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi also joined an academic panel titled "Increasing Income and Enhancing People's Capabilities," alongside Associate Professor Dr. Jermsak Pintong, Professor Dr. Polin Phucharoen, and Professor Dr. Mingsan Khaosaad.
This event was organized to publicize the important contributions and roles of the Royal Society over the past 100 years, serving as a key platform to foster collaboration between the Royal Society and academic institutions to generate benefits for society and the nation, and to support sustainable national development. It also commemorated the legacy of Prince Voravongse Thawathorn, Prince of Narathip Phongpraphan, former President of the Royal Society, who made significant contributions to language and laid the foundation for terminology standardization.
