The HDP Association opened a youth platform to nurture the next generation of tactical shooters by organizing the Action Air Mini Match 2026, competing for the trophy awarded by the Minister of Tourism and Sports.
On 7 September 2026 at Bhumipailin Shooting Range, Khlong Si Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province, the HDP Tactical Shooting Sports Association held the Action Air Mini Match 2026, an airsoft shooting competition focused on action shooting. The event aimed to provide young participants with disciplined sports skills under internationally recognized safety standards.
The competition featured 10 stages using airsoft guns under the association’s rules and regulations. The highlight was the contest for trophies and honorary medals engraved with the name of Mr. Surasak Pancharoenvorakul, Minister of Tourism and Sports, to instill pride in the competing athletes.
The event atmosphere was lively with many young participants competing alongside athletes of various ages, closely supervised by officials and committee members. The event emphasized foundational qualities such as concentration, discipline, self-control, decision-making, responsibility, respect for rules, and sportsmanship, all under the guiding principle that "safety always comes before competition."
Ms. Suranee Setthananon, President of the HDP Tactical Shooting Sports Association and Match Director, explained that the association’s goal was not only the children’s competition results but also to teach them discipline, rules, responsibility, and safety from day one—forming the essential foundation to grow into quality athletes in the future.
Although called a Mini Match, this competition marks a significant step for the HDP Association in building a foundation for new athletes. It provides young participants with real competitive experience and opportunities to advance to higher levels.
