Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) and Singtel Group announced a strategic partnership to develop undersea cable infrastructure linking Thailand and Singapore. The collaboration aims to enhance international connectivity and strengthen the digital infrastructure readiness of both countries as key digital economic hubs in Southeast Asia, announced at the Singtel Future Innovation Center in Singapore.
This collaboration builds on GULF's capabilities in infrastructure development and digital business, combined with Singtel's expertise in digital infrastructure and global undersea cable systems. Both parties will jointly develop and invest in undersea cable projects to meet the continuously growing demand for cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), data centers, and digital services, while creating business opportunities that generate value and promote long-term growth together.
