Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF), led by Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer, and Singtel Group, led by Yuen Kuan Moon, Chief Executive Officer, announced a strategic partnership to develop submarine cable infrastructure connecting Thailand and Singapore. This aims to enhance international connectivity and strengthen digital infrastructure readiness in both countries, positioned as key digital economy hubs in Southeast Asia, at the Singtel Future Innovation Center in Singapore.
This collaboration builds on GULF's strengths in infrastructure development and digital business, combined with Singtel's expertise in global digital infrastructure and submarine cable systems. Both parties will jointly develop and invest in submarine cable projects to support the continuously growing demand for cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), data centers, and digital services. They aim to create additional business opportunities, generate value, and achieve long-term shared growth.
