On 12 September 2026 GMT+7, the construction and decoration of the Ubosot at Wang Ree Boonlert Temple, Dusit Subdistrict, Tham Phannara District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, have progressed significantly and are nearly finished. The interior features elegant, finely detailed Thai patterns in red, blue, and gold tones, alongside murals depicting Buddhist stories, creating an atmosphere of dignity and auspiciousness.
The inner walls of the Ubosot are decorated with exquisite Buddhist art and Thai motifs, while the main altar features a Buddha statue in front of a Bodhi tree, an important element symbolizing Buddhism and enlightenment.
Outside, the Ubosot showcases prominent Thai architectural features such as chofah, bai raka, pediments, and gold patterns on blue and red backgrounds, reflecting the faith and collective dedication of Buddhists involved in building and maintaining the temple.
Wang Ree Boonlert Temple is preparing to hold its "Major Kathin Ceremony, once a year event" on Saturday, 21 November 2026 GMT+7, inviting Buddhists and devotees to participate in the Kathin robe offering and to rejoice in this significant occasion.
