At around 07:00 on 19 Sep 2026 GMT+7, reporters said the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported heavy accumulated rain in Mueang Phetchabun, Lom Kao, Lom Sak, Khao Kho, Wang Pong, Chon Daen, Nam Nao, and Nong Phai districts, with rain continuing. They warned of flash floods, flash flooding, river overflows, and flooding in low-lying and hillside areas, advising residents to move belongings to higher ground, relocate vehicles, secure valuables and important documents, beware of electric shocks, and care for vulnerable groups.
In Mae Hong Son, Mueang, Khun Yuam, Mae La Noi, Mae Sariang, and Sop Moei districts also experienced accumulated and ongoing rain. Authorities warned of flash floods, flash flooding, and landslides in low-lying and hillside areas and nearby zones. Residents are urged to move belongings to higher ground, relocate vehicles, secure valuables and important documents, beware of electric shocks, and care for vulnerable groups.
