Meanwhile, the wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are fairly strong, with waves 2-3 meters high and over 3 meters in areas with thunderstorms. Mariners in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea should navigate carefully and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea are advised to refrain from leaving the shore during 19–20 Sep 2026.
