Khlong Lan National Park Temporarily Closes Khlong Lan Waterfall for Swimming After Heavy Continuous Rain

Khlong Lan National Park has temporarily banned swimming at Khlong Lan Waterfall due to continuous heavy rain, but visitors can still tour and enjoy the atmosphere as usual.

On 20 Sep 2026 at 10:00 AM, continuous heavy rain in Kamphaeng Phet Province caused water levels in Khlong Lan National Park, Khlong Lan District, to rise rapidly. The water surged down steep cliffs, creating mist that spread throughout the area like a natural fog curtain. For visitor safety, the park announced a temporary ban on swimming to monitor and prevent dangers from flash flooding.

However, the park remains open for visitors to explore and experience the atmosphere normally. While swimming is currently prohibited, tourists can still stroll, enjoy the refreshing mist, and capture rare beautiful views of Khlong Lan Waterfall, full of charm and vibrant life during the rainy season forest.

Visitors can follow daily news and updates about Khlong Lan Waterfall on the Khlong Lan National Park Facebook page or contact the park's visitor center for more information before traveling.
