Today at 09:20, the First Naval Area Special Operations Team deployed personnel from the Naval Special Warfare Command (frogmen/SEALs), along with divers from Sawang Rojanatham Sattahip Foundation and Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya, to return to the incident site. Using patrol boat T.112, they departed from Laem Tian Pier at Sattahip Naval Base, Chonburi Province, heading toward the sunken 'S. Kanchanawari 888' site, estimated to take about three hours or more.
Upon arrival, officials will assess weather, water currents, underwater visibility, and operational safety before deciding to send divers to inspect the vessel for missing persons and recover bodies if found inside the wreck.
